Watch the sky, honestly.

Open a genuine tracking provider. Learn what you are looking at before treating a map as the whole story.

FLIGHT TRACKING / EXTERNAL PROVIDER

The live map is one click away.

Aeroplanes.im does not display live aircraft positions. Open Flightradar24 for its tracking map, with its own coverage, update times and terms.

Open Flightradar24 ↗

Independent link. No partnership implied. No positions or arrival estimates are invented here.

Read the labels

On the provider’s map, inspect the aircraft details and any timestamp supplied. A gap on the map is not proof that an aircraft is absent. Coverage, available broadcasts and provider policies affect what can be displayed.

For an actual journey

Use your airline or airport’s official flight information for passenger decisions. Enthusiast tracking is a way to explore movements, not a replacement for operational or safety information.

More context

Compare the type shown by a provider with a profile here, and note uncertainty in your spotting log. The codebase has a documented future integration point for a properly licensed service; the visitor experience works without it.
